Treating Poor Foot Circulation
by: Kris

If you have poor foot circulation, particularly if you have diabetes, it is important to see your medical doctor and discuss foot circulation treatment options.

With your doctor's approval, take a daily low dose aspirin to help circulation. If you smoke, you need to quit - smoking can effect your arteries, blood flow and circulation. Drink water! About 8 glasses daily.

I also recommend regular weekly foot massages: soak your feet in warm water (with a drop of lavender oil in the water or some Epsom salts) for about half an hour. Dry your feet well. Then, using a good foot oil or foot cream, massage your feet well - even better if you can talk a spouse or family member into doing that for you! Or treat yourself to a professional pedicure, which will include a foot massage.

It is especially important for people with diabetes to take very good care of their feet. Make treating poor foot circulation a priority, it is very possible to properly treat your feet.

Hope this helps Marilynn - please let us know.
