Heart Healthy Menu

To Achieve a Healthy Heart Rate

Diet can have a positive impact on your heart: develop a heart healthy menu and use heart healthy diet guidelines to create a heart healthy meal. A typical healthy heart rate (resting) for adults is between 60 and 80 beats per minute.

To improve the health of your heart you need to be healthy. Everyone knows the basics: no smoking, drink about 8 glasses of water daily, exercise regularly and frequently, and eat heart healthy meals.

Talk with your medical doctor about what a healthy heart rate is for you (it needs to be related to your age, weight, height, gender). Ask your doctor for input in terms of preventative actions. Your goal is always to prevent health issues: live your life in a way that allows you to develop and maintain a healthy heart rate.

Heart Healthy Diet Guidelines

  • Reduce salt
  • Reduce fat
  • Reduce refined carbohydrates and sugars
  • Increase vegetables (about 5 servings a day)
  • Increase fruits (about 3 servings a day)
  • Increase complex carbohydrates: whole grains and legumes

Developing and eating a heart healthy menu is good for you, and for your family. Following heart healthy diet guidelines are a significant step forward in preventing heart issues.

It is always important to consult with your medical doctor if you believe you are experiencing heart problems. Additionally, focus on improving your blood circulation through the use of herbs and natural remedies.

Ginkgo, Ginger, Rosemary are excellent herbs to boost circulation and you can find all these herbal extracts in the heart healthy combination of one product called Circu-Live. This natural, full spectrum tonic is effective and it's been registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
