Thanks for your email. It does sound like you have a inflammatory skin condition called Rosacea. There are a few natural remedies you can try to help reduce inflammation and that redness from flaring up. Please understand there is no cure for rosacea at this time.

1. Only wash your face with lukewarm or cool (not cold or hot) water. And use a soap especially formulated for sensitive rosacea skin....NOT REGULAR SOAP!

2. stay out of hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms...and try very hard to stay out of the sun.If you must go out in the sun, use a light sunscreen made for sensitive skin.


3. Wash the skin gently - Never rub hard or use any type of abrasive cleansers.

4. If you wear a foundation, make sure it’s specially formulated for rosacea skin.

5. And apply very light layers. You don’t want heavy layers of foundation to trap bacteria or clog pores.

6. If your skin gets dry, use a moisturizer made for rosacea skin. Not the cheap drug store brand that contains mineral oils or other heavy oils. They will clog pores and aggravate inflamed skin.
