Symptoms of poor circulation and what to do about itby Sally
Thanks, Sally P. Response from Natural Old Home Remedies Hi Sally, Thanks for your email. Yes, we have a pretty extensive section on symptoms of poor circulation and the whole circulatory system. Click here Circulatory System Problems to read more. The most common symptoms of poor circulation are cold feet and hands: when blood isn't circulating properly through your body it means that it doesn't get to your hands and/or feet and therefore you will feel cold more in those areas. My younger sister has always had poor circulation in her feet and not only are they always cold, they have almost a bluish tinge and the skin is fairly dry. She learned to keep her feet up at lest for 10 to 15 minutes several times during the day, to drink lots of water (to aid blood flow), and to do exercise on a daily basis (only 15 to 20 minutes) which helps to pump the blood. Note: She got her doctor's approval first. I've recently noticed myself that at the end of day (when I'm tired) my circulation is slow. I sometimes get tingling in my feet or legs; so I wiggle my toes, put my feet up, and sometimes even massage them with a good moisturizer. It works! Visit your doctor if you think you have poor circulation - there could be an underlying serious health issue. Also, visit The Doctors Book Home Remedies For Better Health for all sorts of great home remedies written by a naturaopathic doctor. If you scroll the down the page, you'll see a section where you can sign up and 50 Natural Home Remedies Recipes and Tips for free. I just love this book and use it almost daily for everything from natural remedies for heartburn to eliminating age spots. Hope that helps, Kris, Administration, Natural Old Home Remedies |
